OREANDA-NEWS. October 30, 2012. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company paid over RUB 28.7 m as reinsurance indemnity for the total loss of BELL-407 helicopter operated by AK BARS AERO JSC airline carrier.

The loss event occurred on April 6, 2012. BELL-407 helicopter carried out a flight under adverse weather conditions in Almetievsky District of the Republic of Tatarstan. The pilot lost control over the flight altitude, which resulted in the helicopter's collision with the ground.

The damages of the helicopter were classified as its total loss. The event was recognized a loss event, and Ingosstrakh Insurance Company paid a compensation in accordance with the terms and conditions of the reinsurance agreement between Ingosstrakh Insurance Company and Chulpan Insurance Company CJSC.
