OREANDA-NEWS. October 30, 2012. Tata Housing, India’s fastest growing real estate development company, announced that the company has bagged three honours at the 5th GIREM Leadership Awards, including the top Company of the Year honour.

GIREM (Global Initiative for Restructuring Environment and Management), the premier international forum for urban planning and corporate real estate, recognised the country's leading realtors, architecture firm, construction firm, engineering firm, consultancy firm and investors, at the GIREM Leadership Awards held in New Delhi. The jury awarded Tata Housing in three categories — Company of the Year, Best Integrated Township (for its Shubh Griha project) and Best Marketing Campaign (for The Promont project in Bangalore).

Leaders of India’s real estate sector, including heads of real estate companies and industry stalwarts, graced the occasion.

The renowned award is being conferred on Tata Housing in recognition of its initiatives and performance in residential concepts, marketing and pioneering efforts for the company’s affordable housing projects. Tata Housing has won this award in these categories, competing with established players in the construction and real estate industry.

The companies were shortlisted based on various parameters such as growth, profitability, innovation, leadership, strong performance and soundness in the last financial year. Ernst & Young was the awards' process and knowledge partner for this year.

The awards featured coveted trophies in 13 clearly defined categories based on GIREM’s Leadership Awards Survey. Trophies were awarded to the top among each of the following categories — Person of the Year, Company of the Year, Best Urban Development Project, Best Integrated Township, Architecture Firm of the Year, Real Estate Consultancy Firm, Investor of the Year, Best Office Space Design of the Year, Project Management Firm of the Year, Real Estate Head of the Year – Corporate, Facility Head of the Year – Corporate, Best Mall of the Year and Best Marketing Campaign of the Year.
