OREANDA-NEWS. October 30, 2012. Sergei Poliakoff has been appointed Managing Director responsible for IT Development at Moscow Exchange. In his new job, Sergei will be in charge of setting up and developing the unified technology platform for the Exchange"s markets.

Sergei has unique work experience dealing with large-scale projects in the sphere of market structure, electronic and algorithmic trade, order processing and order execution system development.

Sergei has 25 years of qualified work and management experience. Prior to joining Moscow Exchange, he worked for such global financial corporations as AQS Financial Markets, Deutsche Bank, NatWest and Morgan Stanley.

Sergei holds a Bachelor in Computer Science from the New York Polytechnic, as well as a Master in Mathematics and Computer Science from NYU Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences. He is the co-author of a number of patents in the sphere of financial product market and holds several academic degrees in mathematics and computer technology.
