OREANDA-NEWS. October 30, 2012. "Tatneftesnab" Administration (UTNS) is a modern high-tech complex, which ensures procurement for the TATNEFT Group of Companies, celebrates the 60th anniversary, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

The veterans and employees of ”Tatneftesnab” Administration, who had made a significant contribution to the development of the oil industry, were granted top Russian state, national and corporate awards.

Being the same age as the oil and gas sector of the Republic of Tatarstan, UTNS has developed as its integral part. The work of ”Tatneftesnab” Administration to a large extent contributes to the successful activity of all the TATNEFT’s divisions.

Development of the Company’s crude oil fields requires continuous providing for a huge flow of a variety of materials and equipment. New approaches to the organization of logistics are applied to address these issues today. UTNS is an important link in the chain of customer - UMTO (Logistics Department) - Finance Department - UTNS. The recent years witnessed successful implementation of such projects at "Tatneftesnab" Administration as accounting, designing and introduction of filing procedures for execution of "applications for delivery" under the SAP-based centralized delivery system, putting into operation an electronic store and automated monitoring system of conclusion and execution of contracts. Currently, "Tatneftesnab" Administration is an up-to-date and dynamic company, capable to meet the most challenging tasks to ensure the material resources provision for the structural and service enterprises.

UTNS today is tens of thousands of items range and hundreds of suppliers, railway lines with special cars, and a large fleet of cargo-handling equipment, clothing stores and large-tonnage storage vessels for cement, as well as warm and mechanized warehouses. The annual turnover of UTNS amounts to 16 billion rubles.
