NOMOS-BANK Raises Interest Rates on Deposits
OREANDA-NEWS. October 30, 2012. NOMOS-BANK has increased interest rates in rubles for its main line of fixed-term deposits for personal banking customers. Depending on the term of the deposit, the rate increase is up to 0.85% per annum in rubles, reported the press-centre of NOMOS-BANK.
Maximum yields for NOMOS-MAXIMUM have reached 9.15% in rubles, 4.35% in U.S. dollars and 4.25% in euros including capitalization. This is for the classic option which does not allow for making further deposits or expenditure operations.
NOMOS-SAVINGS now offers rates of up to 8.75% in rubles, 3.95% in U.S. dollars and 3.85% in euros including capitalization. This savings option is for customers who prefer to make more than one deposit to the account over time.
NOMOS-MAXIMUM and NOMOS-SAVINGS allow for the monthly capitalization of interest as well as a reduced rate for early termination. Customers can open these deposits using the Bank’s mobile and internet facilities.
The maximum rate of return on the NOMOS-MULTICURRENCY deposit is 7.75% in rubles, 2.95% in U.S. dollars, and 2.85% in euros. Investing in NOMOS-MULTICURRENCY allows customers to freely convert either the entire amount or a set amount into the desired currency without loss of accrued interest. This product allows customers both to insure against changes in exchange rates and to make money on differences in foreign-exchange rates.
The interest rate for NOMOS-PENSION DEPOSIT savings account is now 9.10% in rubles, 4.00% in U.S. dollars and 3.90% in euros. This savings account combines high interest rates with a wide range of other features: a low minimum deposit of just 1,000 rubles, the option to make additional deposits for the duration of the active period, and preferential terms for the early termination of the deposit.
