OREANDA-NEWS. October 29, 2012. The Mineral Processing Integrated Control Expert System developed by Changtian International Engineering Corporation of MCC (CIE) has been proved to be of outstanding operational performance, reported the press-centre of MCC.

This is the very first Level-2 intelligent control system for mineral processing, which is developed basing upon the database and knowledge base. It is a L2 system which is independent from the current L1 basic control system. In this regard, Yuxi Dahongshan Mining Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Kuming Iron & Steel Group, sent a congratulation letter to CIE a couple of days ago.

According to the congratulatory message, the control system developed by CIE has been proved to take the leading position both at home and abroad in terms of its controlling level. During the operation in the last two months, the semi-autogenous grinding mill feed system made a perfect control performance, featured by a stable mill feed process and a dramatic increasing of raw mill processing volume per hour. The output capacity had been enhanced from 247.14 tons per hour in June to 304 tons per hour in September, far exceeding 5%, the anticipated growth rate.
The R&D staff of CIE stated that, they would continue to work on the further optimization and application on this control system, and start to promote this product in the industry step by step.
