OREANDA-NEWS. October 26, 2012. Solemnities devoted to the labor achievement of the region’s cotton-growers, who fulfilled the contractual obligations on raw cotton production, were held in Mary province. They have yielded over 335 thousand tons of “white gold”.

Working of fields with defoliants was realized in optimal agro-technical terms that provided the efficiency of mechanized harvesting of valuable technical crop, where it was used nearly one and a half hundred of cotton pickers. Alongside with machine picking, the cotton harvesting was realized manually as well.

In the course of the current solemnity, it was held the awarding of particularly distinguished workers of agricultural sector of the province during this campaign. They received valuable gifts on behalf of the head of state.
