OREANDA-NEWS. October 26, 2012. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company has paid over RUB 3.4 m of the insurance indemnity to Orekhovyi Sad Ltd, located in Takhtamukaysky District of the Republic of Adygeya because of damage to hazelnut plants .

According to the insurance agreement, a plantation of Roman variety hazelnut was insured against total or partial loss. In February 2012, severe frost resulted in damaging of the plants. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company recognized it to be an insured event, and paid compensation to the farming company in accordance with the terms of the agreement.

Ingosstrakh Insurance Company Branch in Krasnodar and Orekhovyi Sad Ltd have been cooperating in agricultural insurance since 2010.

Orekhovyi Sad Ltd is a farming company operating in Takhtamukaysky District of the Republic of Adygeya since 2004. The company is involved in vegetable farming, landscape gardening, nursery garden production, growing and picking mushrooms and truffles, growing fruit and berry crops, nuts, crops for drinks and spices production as well as other agricultural activities.
