OREANDA-NEWS. October 26, 2012. The final round of the 9 All-Ukrainian Student Olympics, initiated by the PJSC "Ukrsotsbank", UniCredit Bank™, took place in Kyiv. The main idea of the event is to help talented students in identifying and developing their talents, creating favourable conditions for the professional realization.

This year 1306 students from 100 universities in Ukraine participated in the UniOlympics. The best 15 students who demonstrated the best scores of knowledge of the banking business, finance in the first round of the UniOlympics reached the final round. Participants of the final round had to submit to the jury a presentation on one of the provided topics, try themselves in the role of customer service manager and to demonstrate their creativity by creating an advertising campaign of new product of the international Bank.

The best students of 9 All-Ukrainian Student Olympics are:

Bilous Kateryna, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv – І place;

Gorbatenko Marina, Cherkasy Institute of Bank Affairs (branch of Ukrainian Academy of Bank Affairs of National Bank of Ukraine) - ІІ place;

Pashova Oksana, Kharkiv Institute of Banking (of the Ukrainian Academy of Banking under the National Bank of Ukraine)- ІІІ place.

All finalists were awarded with the valuable present - the sets of UEFA EURO 2012 promotional items, sets of UEFA EURO 2012 memorable coins, USB-memory-sticks and the right to undertake an internship in one of the UniCredit’s banks in Ukraine. Winners of the final competition received the diplomas and also got money prizes: I place — UAH 8000, II place — UAH 6000, III place — UAH 4000, as well as got the right to work in PJSC “Ukrsotsbank” after graduation.

Sharing impassions on educational event the winner of student superiority, Kateryna Bilous, noticed that the main goal of participation in this event was to check theoretical knowledge, put them into practice, to receive experience of communication with other students and to get a job.
