Seminar for GGF Technical Assistance Took Place in MEGABANK
OREANDA-NEWS. October 26, 2012. In MEGABANK a seminar for technical assistance to be provided by the "Green Fund for Growth" ("GGF") under the facility line for projects to improve energy efficiency of small and medium enterprises in Ukraine was held, reported the press-centre of MEGABANK.
According to Elena Yunatska, the project manager, technical assistance covers three main directions. Firstly, MEGABANK will be provided with a technical assistance in strategy development and creating a proper EE lending product. This part of the project is planned to be realized within six months. The consultant for this part of technical assistance is Frankfurt School of Finance & Management – the institute with good reputation both in Germany and abroad. Frankfurt School would help MEGABANK to develop strategy and marketing plan for realization of EE lending programs as well as to prepare and implement new loan products, aimed at spread of energy saving technologies all over Ukraine, said E. Yunatska.
The second direction as for the technical assistance facility is energy audit to be carried out in MEGABANK within 1.5 – 2 years.
The third stage of the technical assistance facility will be devoted to design monitoring & report system. This stage starts at the end of October and will last till the end of March, said E. Yunatska.
She also noted that it was the first GGF’s credit line in Ukraine and it has been provided namely to MEGABANK. "We are delighted with this cooperation. MEGABANK became the first GGF’s partner in Ukraine; we wish you success in this program realization and work in energy savings direction. We hope for our further cooperation", said E. Yunatska.
