OREANDA-NEWS. October 25, 2012. The exercise of options on the BOVESPA Index (Ibovespa) generated BRL 4.04 billion yesterday, with 68,380 contracts traded. Of the volume exercised, BRL 1.13 billion was in put options and BRL 2.9 billion in call options.

The Ibovespa index ended the session 0.57% higher at 60,087.29 points.

The contracts with the largest volumes were:

Series at 60,000 points, at BRL 970.200 million in call options;

Series at 58,000 points, at BRL 624.080 million in call options;

Series at 62,000 points, at BRL 587.760 million in put options;

Series at 59,000 points, at BRL 481.440 million in call options;

Series at 61,000 points, at BRL 453.840 million in put options.
