OREANDA-NEWS. October 25, 2012. President Guo Wenqing of MCC Group met with Chairman Xu Lejiang of Baosteel Group in Shanghai. The other relevant heads of MCC Group and Baosteel Group were present at the meeting. Both parties conducted friendly communication on the strengthening of mutual collaboration, reported the press-centre of MCC Group.

MCC Group and Baosteel Group have been maintaining an in-depth cooperative relationship for a long period. All the major projects, inspection and maintenance works, as well as the supportive services of Baosteel Group are undertaken by MCC Group. Guo Wenqing gave a brief introduction to the industrial structure and business development of MCC, especially the preliminary work for Zhanjiang Project.

He stated that, MCC Group would like to fully utilize its technical and professional advantages, actively participate in the various projects of Baosteel, and build up a long-term strategic collaborative partnership between both parties. Xu Lejiang introduced the enterprise management, business operation of Baosteel and progress of Zhanjiang Project. He extended welcome to MCC to take part in the relevant project implementation for Baosteel.

Both parties agreed to make further endeavors in the mutual communication, the utilization of management and technical advantages of the central enterprises, the promotion of friendly relationship. The two giants would redouble efforts in cooperation on engineering construction, development of real estate and overseas resources, with a target to achieve common prosperity on a mutual benefit and win-win basis.

The other attendees at the meeting included: Vice General Manager Yu Zuda of Baosteel Zhanjiang Iron & Steel Co., Ltd.; Director Li Jian for Domestic Engineering Management of MCC Group; Chairman Chen Ming of Shanghai Baoye Construction Corp., Ltd. (SBC-MCC); Chairman Liu Anyi of MCC Baosteel Technology Services Co., Ltd. (BTS); and General Manager Zhang Mengxing of China 20MCC Construction Group (20MCC Group).
