OREANDA-NEWS. October 25, 2012. An award ceremony was held in Beijing by Fortune to honor the Chinese enterprises listed on the Fortune 500 for their remarkable commercial achievements. Mr. Han Gensheng, Vice President of Sinochem Group, attended the ceremony on behalf of the company, and accepted the certificate awarded by Su Andi, chief editor of Fortune, reported the press-centre of Sinochem.

The ceremony was attended by senior executives from over 30 enterprises on the list in China.

In 2012, Sinochem Group ranked among Fortune 500 for the 22nd time, ranking 113th and moving ahead 55 places compared with last year.

The number of Chinese enterprises on the list is 79, increased by 10 compared with that of last year. Among such listed enterprises, 69 are from mainland China, 4 from Hong Kong and 6 from Taiwan. The number of enterprises on the list in mainland China exceeds that of Japan, which has 68 enterprises on the list, but is second only to the US which has 132 enterprises on the list. Chinese enterprises gained wide acceptance in global commercial field, not only for the dramatically increased number of enterprises on the Fortune 500, but also for their excellent performance.
