PM of Ukraine Calls to Build Infrastructure in Small Towns
OREANDA-NEWS. October 25, 2012. It's very important build a modern cultural, sports and entertainment sites in regional centers and small towns. This was announced by Prime Minister Mykola Azarov during overview newly constructed the Ocean-Plaza Shopping Mall.
"It's very important to do so, and it's our great challenge, to such modern facilities were built not only in the large towns, but also in small ones," Mykola Azarov said.
According to him, a beautiful sports center, a modern cinema and concert hall, convenient supermarket should be built in every town in order to residents did not visit for the services of such cultural, sporting and shopping centers into the capital and major cities.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister recalled the Government is recently implementing an extensive program to build social infrastructure facilities throughout the country: kindergartens, schools, hospitals and others.
"All of these programs are critical and I always focus local officials to ensure that they are now selecting most pressing construction sites from a large number of ones. Because if we tackle all at once, it results in wasting money and slowing the pace of implementation of similar sites," Mykola Azarov said.
He also stressed the local officials should clearly determine the list of sites which they need in the first place.
