OREANDA-NEWS. October 25, 2012. Unprecedented upsurge of Ukraine in the World Bank ranking and the International Finance Corporation Doing Business 2013 regarding improving conditions for small and medium businesses is the result of reforms that have been carried out and are recently being carried out in Ukraine.

The Prime Minister Mykola Azarov comments so the announced results of ranking, under which Ukraine has literally jumped up in the rating: at once rose by 15 points at 137th place, compared to 152nd in last year.

"The most important, for example, we have risen at once by 66 positions under the establishment of enterprises, from 116th up to 50th," Mykola Azarov stressed. "Here is the result of reforms. Moreover, these estimates are not made by us."

Mykola Azarov declared that such recognition by global experts is the best evidence of the correct path of activity of current Government, held reforms as well. And also - the best answer to critics-opponents, who at that time did not do anything. Ukraine was at the tail end of this list, and now we have started to rise."

"We shall achieve what we have planned: to make Ukraine attractive for investments and make business conditions among the best in the world," said Mykola Azarov. "And that deregulation, which we hold, reduce administrative pressure, the fiscal burden are already reflected in the evaluation by independent experts, and most importantly, in parameters of socio-economic development."
