OREANDA-NEWS. October 24, 2012.  The Government strengthens control over compliance with the law and ensuring the validity of decisions on alienation and changing the purpose of state-owned land. The relevant decision has adopted at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

There has been instructed to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the State Agency of Land Resources of Ukraine, the Council of Ministers of Crimea, regional, district, Kyiv and Sevastopol city state administrations to ensure tight control over the legality and validity of the alienation of agricultural land public property, including providing the ownership or use, and changes of their designated objective.

The Government also instructed to analyze previously granted permits for development projects concerning land engineering on allotment of agricultural land plots of state ownership for their compliance with the legislation. In case of identifying violations, it is necessary ensure abolition of such permits.
