OREANDA-NEWS. October 24, 2012.  Eight Estonian IT companies trying to make it big in Silicon Valley summed up their business ideas in blitz proposals in Palo Alto.

"Estonian Startups Pitching Night“ was organized by Enterprise Estonia and Silicon Vikings, a nonprofit organization that promotes Nordic technology businesses, reported ETV.

Companies pitched their ideas - which ranged from parking payment service, to a student admission system for universities, and an Internet shopping platform - to a panel of venture capitalists and industry representatives.

The event was opened by Estonian Minister of Economic Affairs and Communications Juhan Parts.
