NOMOS-BANK Net Income for 9M Totaled RUB 5,9 bn
OREANDA-NEWS. October 23, 2012. NOMOS-BANK has published the financial results for 9 months of 2012 (figures are in accordance with Russian Accounting Standards, excluding banks-subsidiaries of NOMOS-BANK Group), reported the press-centre of NOMOS-BANK.
NOMOS-BANK’s net profit for 9 months of 2012 was RUB 5.9 billion, which is 31% higher compared to 9 months of 2011.
The main drivers of revenue growth during 9 months of 2012 are an increase in the loan portfolio, followed by healthy growth in net interest income and an increase in net fee and commission income.
As of October 1, 2012 net interest income reached RUB 14.2 billion and grew by 14% compared to 9 months of 2011.
Net fee and commission income for 9 months of 2012 was up 39% compared to 9 months of 2011 and reached RUB 2.3 billion, which is driven by effective development of cross selling and services to customers.
The Bank’s assets as of October 1, 2012 increased by 20% to RUB 533 billion. The structure of the Bank’s assets has not changed significantly. As of October 1, 2012, the Bank’s loan portfolio accounted for 73% of total assets. During 9 months of 2012 total loans increased by 18% to RUB 387.5 billion.
The funding base of NOMOS-BANK remains well diversified. The share of customer accounts was 65% of total liabilities, or RUB 309.6 billion as of October 1 2012, demonstrating 14% increase since December 31, 2011. The amount of retail deposits grew by 16% during 9 months of 2012 to RUB 68.6 billion.
The regulatory capital of the Bank totaled RUB 79 billion as of October 1, 2012, up 33% compared to December 31, 2012. The regulatory capital of NOMOS-BANK as of October 1, 2012, included a subordinated Eurobond issue of USD 500 million for 7 years which the Bank placed in April, 2012.
The capital adequacy ratio, in accordance with the requirements of the Bank of Russia (N1 ratio), was 11.79%, which is a comfortable level for the Bank’s organic growth.
The quick and current liquidity ratios are stable and above the statutory minimum levels (N2 = 59.08%, N3 = 85.22%).
