OREANDA-NEWS. October 19, 2012. GE Healthcare announced the selection of Centricity* PACS-IW by multiple customers, the latest to choose GE for their IT imaging needs.

• Aiken Regional Medical Center (Aiken, S.C.) selected Centricity PACS-IW, replacing a 3rd party vendor. Aiken manages over 100,000 radiology exams annually and will now have support for mammography workflow and advanced 3D processing. Aiken Regional Medical Center is a 245-bed acute care facility offering a comprehensive range of specialties and services.

• Hope Orthopedics (Salem, Ore.) chose Centricity PACS-IW along with a digital radiology room. Hope Orthopedics of Oregon is a medical clinic comprised of 18 orthopedic specialists, 10 physician assistants, support professionals and staff offering a comprehensive range of services for conditions affecting the bones, muscles and joints.

• Magan Medical Clinic (Covina, Calif.), originally a remote PACS-IW site, inked a deal to bring PACS-IW to its main facility. Magan Medical Clinic is a multi-specialty facility that offers a wide range of clinical services to its patients.

“Each of these agreements represents the continued investment in our imaging portfolio and in our valued customers,” said Jim Corrigan, senior vice president and general manager of GE Healthcare IT. “We look forward to continued work to drive their goals with our equipment and to working with them to customize our products for their specific needs.”
