OREANDA-NEWS. October 19, 2012. NOVATEK (“NOVATEK” and/or the “Company”) has received a notice from LLC Santata regarding a decrease in its equity stake in the Company from 13.1315% to 9.6388%.

In accordance with the press release issued today by Volga Resources, which includes LLC Santata, the change is due to intragroup restructuring and does not affect the consolidated shareholding in NOVATEK by Volga Resources.

JSC NOVATEK is Russia’s largest independent gas producer and the second-largest natural gas producer in Russia. Founded in 1994, the Company is engaged in the exploration, production, processing and marketing of natural gas and liquid hydrocarbons.
