OREANDA-NEWS.  October 19, 2012. BALT-AUDIT-EXPERT Company incorporated in the Energy Consulting Group has won the tender for the conduct of an integrated research of the culture of small towns in Russia, reported the press-centre of Energy Consulting.

BALT-AUDIT-EXPERT Company has won the tender for the conduct of an integrated research of the culture of small towns in Russia. This investigation will result in the creation of methodological recommendations on drafting regional programs for the cultural and touristic development in small towns of the country.

The research expects to select three towns-representatives of each constituent entity of the Russian Federation from more than 700 small towns. Thus, more than 250 towns will be selected. Over 20 quantitative and qualitative indicators will be reviewed to estimate the level of culture there. Experts of Energy Consulting will identify either the factors that impact on the level of the cultural and touristic development in a certain town to assess the influence these factors have had on the potential of inhabitants and the town brand.

The ultimate outcome of the project is the drafting recommendations for the cultural and touristic development as a basis for the modernization of the economy in small towns of Russia. Representatives of executive authorities of constituent entities of the Russian Federation, local authorities, representatives of business communities and public organizations, celebrities and independent experts will be engaged in a round-table discussion on these results.
