Frank Rittner is appointed a partner at PwC Russia
Frank Rittner will lead PwC’s Metals and Mining Advisory Practice in Central and Eastern Europe, a region encompassing 30 countries, including Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan, reported the press-centre of PwC.

Frank was born in Dortmund (Germany) in 1968. He graduated from the University of Dortmund with a M.Sc. in Chemistry in 1994 and received a Ph.D with highest honours in Physical Chemistry in 1997. He was awarded Germany’s prestigious Feodor Lynen post-doctoral fellowship to do research in molecular modelling at Columbia University in New York, where he worked until 2000. 

In 2000, Frank started his career at McKinsey & Company, where he stayed for nearly 8 years. As Associate Principal and member of the leadership team of McKinsey’s global mining practice, Frank conducted projects in strategy, operations and organization in Western and Eastern Europe, Russia, and Africa. One area in which he specialized was the design and implementation of Continuous Improvement systems in production.

In 2008, Frank joined Interpipe (Ukraine) as a member of the Management Board and Director of Strategy and Business Development.

Frank concluded his work at Interpipe in 2012 and joined PwC Russia in the same year.

Stefano Tonetti is appointed a partner at PwC Russia

Stefano Tonetti will be responsible for the development and support of the energy sector companies in Russia and CIS countries.

Stefano was born in Udine, Italy in 1969. In 1995 he graduated from Trieste State University (Italy) with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business and Economics. In 1996-2007 Stefano has been a lecturer at Trieste University and has also published a number of books and articles on corporate taxation.

In 1995-2002 Stefano started his career with a law firm Studio Lunelli in Italy, where he was an expert in corporate taxation and tax litigation. Stefano has significant experience working for Energy sector clients across Europe and the CIS. In 2002 Stefano started to work with the firm KPMG where his mission was to develop the Energy practice through successful collaboration with major players on the market. In 2012 Stefano Tonetti has joined PwC Moscow as a Tax Partner.

Nilesh Lad is appointed a partner at PwC Russia

Nilesh Lad will be responsible for the provision of audit and advisory services to energy, utilities and mining clients of PwC Moscow.

Nilesh graduated from Aston Business School in Birmingham (UK) with a BSc in Business & Administration in 1990.

Nilesh started his auditing career with PwC in Birmingham (UK) in 1990. In 1993, he transferred to PwC Miami (USA) where he worked primarily on SEC listed client. In 1994, Nilesh started to work for the energy, utilities and mining group in PwC Moscow (Russia). In 2001, Nilesh was admitted into the PwC partnership.  After 11 years in Russia, he joined PwC in Kyiv (Ukraine) working in the metals, mining and utilities sectors. In September 2012, Nilesh returned in Moscow.

Nilesh has significant experience working with emerging market companies looking to expand globally and access the international capital markets.  Nilesh is an expert in IFRS and US GAAP reporting. He is also an accredited Transactions partner.
 
Nilesh Lad is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW).
