OREANDA-NEWS. October 18, 2012.  SOCAR vice-president for ecology Rafiga Huseynzade met with Ambassador of Belgium to Azerbaijan Luc Truyens, Secretary-General of Department for Environment, Nature and Energy of the Flemish Government Jean-Pierre Heirman, and delegation of the Department.

 During the meeting, Attendees exchanged views on environmental protection, cleaning-up the polluted lands in Belgium, ecological strategy of the Flemish Government, the 40-year measures plan on cleaning the lands and water areas, as well as technology of sea bottom deepening operations, and alternative energy. In turn, Rafiga Huseynzade gave detailed information on SOCAR ecological strategy, works and projects carried out on environmental protection.
