OREANDA-NEWS. October 18, 2012.  IV International Investment Forum started in the Turkmen capital. The representative delegations from various countries all over the world arrived in Turkmenistan to take part in the forum organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.

Among the delegates are the heads and specialists of the authoritative international organizations, including the United Nations Organisation, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), leading world banks as well as famous foreign companies including Microsoft Corporation, ZyXEL Communications Corp., Dragon Oil, Yangzhou Haichuan Shipyard, etc.

Turkmenistan is represented by the Government officials, the heads of the core ministries and departments, state and joint-stock commercial banks, higher educational institutions of the country, Khyakims of Velayat and Ashgabat, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, etc.

The International investment forum that is traditionally held on the Turkmen leader’s initiative in Ashgabat since 2009 has become an open platform for business meetings and talks on the urgent issues of the economic cooperation in the sphere of investments.

The business programme of the forum is focused on discussion of investment potential and specific results. Within three days potential foreign partners are provided with an opportunity to learn more about the Turkmen market and present their offers on establishing business relations.
