OREANDA-NEWS. October 18, 2012. An on-site meeting of the Executive Committee of the Trade Unions Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan on the "Collective Agreement as an instrument of social partnership in the implementation of the youth policy of the enterprises and organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan" was held at TANECO, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.   

An extensive visit program of trade union and youth leaders headed by Tatiana Vodopyanova, Chairwoman of the Trade Unions Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan, started with a visit to the industrial site of the Oil Refining and Petrochemical Complex, where the delegation got acquainted with almost the entire production chain of the refinery and commended the commitment of the Company to comply with environmental standards.

Gumar Yarullin, Chairman of the Trade Union of TATNEFT welcomed the members of the Executive Committee of the Federation of Trade Unions of Tatarstan and the Youth Council of the RT Trade Union Federation addressing the audience before the meeting. Describing the corporate youth policy aimed at attracting, securing and active involvement of young workers in the Company's activities, he said that youth committees, which were consistently representing the interests of the employees in the implementation of scientific and technological projects, cultural and sporting activities had become a primary tool in realizing the potential of the new generation at TATNEFT Group of Companies.

Many positive aspects of TATNEFT's activities were reflected in the report of Olga Titova, Chairwoman of the Youth Council of the Trade Unions Federation of Tatarstan. She stressed in her speech, that the Company's Management was paying serious attention to the social adaptation of the young people at production sites and development of the youth's professional competence. She mentioned as an example such a novel informative educational resource of TATNEFT as Electronic Corporate University, aimed at training the employees who had just come to the production sites and increasing their knowledge level. It was mentioned in the report that the social package guaranteed by the Collective Agreement of TATNEFT was an effective resource for the creation and development of the corporate culture.

TANECO adopted the strong social and youth policy of its main investor: TATNEFT. This was reported by Renat Sibgatullin, leading expert of the Youth Committee. Today, the youth organization of the Oil Refining and Petrochemical Complex unites 1265 young workers accounting for 53 per cent of the total staff. The young professionals of TANECO are provided with housing: newcomers are offered new and furnished hostel accommodation of both apartment and townhouse types. Following the experience of TATNEFT the employees of the Oil Refining and Petrochemical Complex have an opportunity to improve their living conditions getting an apartment on the mortgage or on the installment basis. 281 apartments were allocated already during the year of 2012.

TANECO is interested in the young personnel and welcomes the emergence of specialists, whose professional knowledge and energy will contribute to the development of the Complex. The high level of the young people social protection was noted by the Trade Union Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan: the Collective Agreement of TANECO became a winner of the IV-th Republican contest "Best Collective Agreement" in 2010 in the nomination "For the effective protection of social and labor rights of young people".

Azat Valishin, Youth Affairs Expert of "Nizhnekamskneftekhim", Andrey Zhukov, Chairman of Young Professionals of "Kazankompressormash" and Rustem Sungatov, paramedic of the Nizhnekamsk TsRMB, also shared their experience at the meeting of the Executive Committee.

Summing up, Tatiana Vodopyanova, Chairwoman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Tatarstan, pointed out that taking into account today's realities the interested parties at all enterprises such as HR services and trade unions should pay special attention to their activities coordination as well as enhance the interaction of youth and student committees.
