OREANDA-NEWS. October 17, 2012. As of the morning of October 8, Ingosstrakh Insurance Company has already paid off the insurance indemnification to 266 tourists of Cherry Tour for a total amount of 9,047,324 RUB under 135 claims.

As of October 8, 2012, 399 claims from 840 tourists have been submitted to Ingosstrakh Insurance Company in total. The total amount of the claimed loss is 25,539,838 RUB.

We should remind you that on September 3, 2012 Cherry Tour LLC announced the termination of its activity. Third-party liability for non-fulfillment or improper fulfillment of obligations by Cherry Tour LLC under the agreement on tourist product sale, insured by Ingosstrakh Insurance Company for a total amount of 30 m RUB. The validity period of the agreement is from January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2012.

Ingosstrakh Insurance Company shall fulfill its commitments and compensate losses to the aggrieved clients of Cherry Tour operator within the amount of coverage under the agreement in accordance with the current legislation of the RF and liability insurance agreement.
