OREANDA-NEWS. October 17, 2012. Thamsanqa Mbele will join Tata Africa on October 15, 2012 as managing director (designate). He will be reporting to Raman Dhawan, and shall take over from him as managing director in November 2013.

Also, Xavier Gobille will join Tata Africa on October 15, 2012 as executive director, auto and allied distribution. Mr Gobille will be reporting to Mr Mbele. Mr Dhawan will, in his continuing role as the managing director, Tata Africa, mentor and guide both Mr Mbele and Mr Gobille, and ensure a smooth leadership transition to Mr Mbele until his superannuation in November 2013.
