OREANDA-NEWS. October 17, 2012. BM&FBOVESPA announces the BOVESPA and BM&F segment trading times to come into effect as of October 22, due to the start of daylight saving time in Brazil on October 21. Below are the main highlights regarding the trading times for the BOVESPA (equities) and BM&F (derivatives) segments:

There will be no change to regular trading on the BOVESPA market, meaning that continuous trading still occurs from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.;

The closing call will be extended for the entire OTC market and for all Real Estate Funds (FIIs);

A closing call will be created for IBOVESPA options, as of 4:50 p.m. with closing extended by two minutes as of the end of the last stock closing call;

Trading in BOVESPA Index Futures Contracts, which starts at 9:00 a.m., will be extended until 5:55 p.m. The closing call will be from 5:55 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.; and

As of November 5, there will no longer be After Market trading for the cash-settled soybean futures contract.
