The board of directors (the "Board") of China Coal Energy Company Limited (the "Company") hereby announces that a meeting of the Board will be held on Tuesday, 23 October 2012, for the purpose of, among other matters, considering and approving the quarterly results of the Group (comprising the Company and its subsidiaries) for the nine months ended 30 September 2012, reported the press-centre of China Coal Energy.  

As at the date of this announcement, the executive directors of the Company are Wang An and Yang Lieke; the non-executive directors of the Company are Peng Yi and Li Yanmeng, and the independent non-executive directors of the Company are Zhang Ke, Wu Rongkang, Zhang Jiaren, Zhao Pei and Ngai Wai Fung.
