OREANDA-NEWS. October 16, 2012. “AutoKrAZ” participated at Specialized Exhibition dedicated to fire safety technologies PojTech-2012 at the International Exhibition Centre in Kiev held as part of 9th edition of International Exhibition Forum Protection Technologies-2012.

The Forum has been organized by the Ministry for Emergency Situations, State Inspection on Anthropogenic Safety of Ukraine, Ukrainian Union of Fire and Anthropogenic Safety and Volunteer Fire Organization of Ukraine.

Over 150 domestic and foreign companies participated at the event. “AutoKrAZ” has displayed the KrAZ Н23.2 (АC-13-70), built in partnership with Tital, Ukrainian manufacturer of fire fighting and rescue trucks and equipment. The fire fighting truck is designed to carry fire crew, fire fighting and rescue equipment to the scene of fire.

Based on the KrAZ Н23.2 cab-over chassis, this new truck is powered with the YaMZ-6501.10 engine (Euro 3) rated at 362 hp coupled with the MFZ 430 single disc clutch and the 9JS200ТА transmission.

A special compartment is located behind the two-seat cab to house four crew members, breathing apparatuses behind seat backs, portable radio system, first aid kits and personal protective gear.

The KrAZ Н23.2 (АC-13-70) truck is provided with various rescue equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic tools, power pump, petrol-powered saw, turbo blower and fire-fighting equipment arranged in special compartments closed with roll up doors.

V.But, acting Minister for Emergency Situations, who was shown a new fire fighting truck and told about its performance, mentioned high quality of domestic product. He emphasized his intention to charge relevant officials with considering the purchase of new domestic trucks for the Ministry for Emergency Situations.

V.Kvashuk, Deputy Minister for Emergency Situations, and G.Marchenko, Head of Rescue Services Department, after seeing showcased exhibit, said that the Ministry for Emergency Situations was in need of such vehicles and 50 units should be bought to provide every region with two trucks.

All the attendees that came to see the KrAZ fire tanker showcased by “AutoKrAZ” emphasized that its performance exceeds much that of its competitors.

On top of everything else, the exhibition attendees could see the capabilities of the KrAZ-63221 mine clearance vehicle on the exhibition space.
