Moldova to Switch Over to Electronic Documents Instead of Paper Ones
OREANDA-NEWS. October 15, 2012. Starting from January, 1, 2014 the government of Moldova to switch over to electronic documents instead of paper ones.
This was stated by Premier Vladimir Filat at the sitting of Cabinet Ministers on Wednesday. He noted the direction would be signed soon. By this, starting from January, 1, 2014 Cabinet ministers will turn into paperless government and all documents used by central public authorities will be circulated and endorsed in the electronic format only.
Vladimir Filat reminded that the digital signature had been widely common in Moldova and the mobile signature service had been launched recently. Besides cutting paper and ink expenses, the transition to the circulation of electronic will allow to make human resources management more efficient, to strictly monitor how public servants attend to their duties and provide citizens of Moldova with qualitative, effective and affordable services. Besides, this will allow eradicating corruption in the public system.
