OREANDA-NEWS. October 15, 2012. The Prime Minister Mykola Azarov took part in the inauguration of Pivdennyi [Southern] Avenue in Kryvyi Rih as part of the program of activities of public-private partnership "city without suburbs."

The PM also took part in ceremony of solemn start of a tram on noiseless tracks, which built using modern technologies on the Pivdennyi Avenue. Then Prime Minister Mykola Azarov together with the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration head Oleksandr Vilkul became its first passengers.

Moreover, Mykola Azarov talked to Kryvyi Rih residents, builders, personnel of the South Ore Mining and Processing Plant JSC.

It should be noted that Pivdennyi Avenue is one of the main streets in Kryvyi Rih and has great social significance. As part of the reconstruction there has not been simply replaced road covering on one of the main streets, and as a matter of fact been built and equipped a new avenue. This will improve the living conditions of more than 30 thousand residents.
