OREANDA-NEWS. October 15, 2012. The employees of "Tatneft-AZS Center" are actively involved in the ecological action of planting trees taking place in Tatarstan. Planting material of coniferous and soft-wooded broadleaved species for the ecological action arrangement are provided by the forest nurseries of the "Forest" State-Financed Organization, reported the press-centre of Tatneft.

In the vicinity of Yelabuga the employees of the Chelny branch of "Tatneft-AZS Center" decided to help the Yelabuga Forestry having planted 2.5 thousand poplar nurslings at a distance of 1 km along the motor road. They have also participated in preparation of planting stock for next year.

The workers of the Almetyevsk branch of "Tatneft-AZS Center" planted 150 wild ash trees within the limits of the filling stations adjacent to urban areas.

The representatives of the Kazan Branch of "Tatneft-AZS Center" planted 2 thousand fir trees in a forest area near Scherbakovka village along M-7 highway. Following the foresters' recommendation the nurslings were planted in open spaces, and in the deciduous forest between the already growing trees for the purpose of improving the forest quality.

The workers of the Bavly Branch landscaped Pervomayskaye Street in Bavly by planting 25 nurslings of firs, 30 poplars and 10 birch trees.

In the coming days, the action will be continued in the major cities of the Republic, including Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk and Almetyevsk. For example, the plans provide for planting 20 lime trees and wild ashes at the central avenue of Nizhnekamsk city and at the area next to Tatneft's Filling station No. 63 on October 10. The Administration offices of the Kirovsky and Moscovsky districts of Kazan allocated 130 nurslings to the Kazan branch of OOO "Tatneft-AZS Center" for planting on October 13 and landscaping of the territories adjacent to Tatneft's filling stations No. 70 and No. 258. These are the areas of Baroudi Street from its intersection with Batyrshin Street up to Krasnokokshayskaya Street and at Vakhitov Street from house No. 8 to the "Bakery and Confectionery Complex".
