SUEK Kuzbass Established New Record of Colliery
OREANDA-NEWS. October 12, 2012. Oleg Kukushkin's team working at section No.1 of Krasnoyarskaya colliery run by SUEK Kuzbass won 451,000 metric tons of coal in September, thus establishing a new record of the colliery.
The team has been successfully mining longwall No808. This is the first mining face at the coal field of Polysayevsky seam 2 offering a 4.7 m minable thickness. The longwall is equipped with 129 upgraded mechanized supports DBT 2250/5500 (Germany). The face mining machinery also includes a high-performance ELECTRA-3000 shearer, a PF-4/1032 longwall conveyor, a PF-4/1132 handler, an SK 11/11 impact roll crusher. All the machinery comprising the mining system was manufactured by Deutsche Bergbau Technik (DBT).
The team started mining the longwall in March 2012 and managed to win more than 2.3m metric tons of coal within 7 months. The team has broken the colliery's monthly records thrice. The highly productive work of the stopers enabled Krasnoyarskaya colliery to achieve its yearly production targets already in August. When congratulating Oleg Kukushkin's team on another achievement of theirs the colliery's director Sergei Alexandrovich Khoroshilov observed:
- The achieved targets, above all, were eventuated by well-coordinated team of professionals, by the high devotion of the miners who were quick to master the new equipment and new conditions of the seam, and for the first time ever in the colliery's history managed to hit the annual production rate of at least 3m metric tons of coal.
