OREANDA-NEWS. October 12, 2012. International rating agency Standard & Poor's has upgraded the short-term foreign currency credit rating of SME Bank (Vnesheconombank Group) to А-2, and affirmed the ВВВ long-term foreign currency credit rating, and ВВВ+/А-2 national currency long-term and short-term ratings, reported the press-centre of SME Bank.

The outlook - Stable.

"SME Bank’s ratings reflect S&P’s opinion of the Bank as a key subsidiary of Vnesheconombank. It is a government-related institution with "almost undoubted" likelihood of support from the RF Government", S&P informs.
