OREANDA-NEWS. October 12, 2012. Severo-Zapadny Bank hosted the offsite meeting of the Committee for Interaction with Minority Shareholders of Sberbank. The meeting was attended via video conferencing by Anton Karamzin, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, Sberbank of Russia. The video session had links to all head offices of Severo-Zapadny Bank, such as head offices for Saint Petersburg, Leningrad Region, Kaliningrad Region, Murmansk Region, Novgorod Region, Pskov Region and Republic of Karelia. Overall, the meeting was attended by about 100 shareholders, who reside in the territory served by Sberbank's Severo-Zapadny Bank, reported the press-centre of Sberbank.

As usual, the participants discussed a broad range of issues, such as summary of privatization results, international expansion, current situation in the financial markets, brokerage services, using feedback channels. Minority shareholders expressed their traditional concern over the amount of dividends.

The event was the 20th offsite meeting held by the Committee for Interaction with Minority Shareholders of Sberbank and second such meeting in Saint Petersburg. Anton Danilov-Danilyan, Chairman of the Committee, noted high activity of the shareholders.

Regular meetings held by the Committee in the regions by using video conferencing ensure communication with the maximum number of shareholders and allow to maintain a constructive dialog contributing to the transparency of the Bank and protection of its shareholders' rights and interests.
