Visitors to Sberbank Website Actively Use Internet Banking
OREANDA-NEWS. October 12, 2012. According to the data from "Question of the Week" online service operated on the website of Sberbank, almost 70% of visitors to the site are using Sberbank Online Internet banking. Among them, more than 65% are using Sberbank Online to make payments (including, utility payments), about 60% are transferring funds and about 30% are repaying their loans through the Internet bank, reported the press-centre of Sberbank.
According to the same service, almost 55% of the visitors to the site are registered in "Thank you from Sberbank" bonus program. Representatives of the following business areas are mentioned among the companies that the visitors to the Internet resource would like to see as new partners of the program – gas stations (about 48%), mobile communications, consumer electronics, food products (more than 40%).
About 45% of those who responded to the relevant question think about investing their pension savings in order to increase their retirement income in the future. More than half of respondents want to have a universal electronic card.
"'Question of the Week' service on the website of Sberbank allows not only to get the picture of our most active Internet audience but also to further inform our customers about new services and opportunities provided by Sberbank", said Yuri Rovensky, Vice President – Director of Public Relations Department, Sberbank of Russia.
The average traffic to the website of Sberbank exceeds 500,000 visitors on weekdays. The Internet resource of Sberbank is the most visited website of the bank in Russia. Since September 2011, the traffic to the website is up by more than 400%. Such rapid increase was primarily driven by the development of multimedia communications and interactive services implemented on the Internet resource of the bank.
