OREANDA-NEWS. October 11, 2012. The Holding's subsidiary TITAN SPETSKONT, LLC, specializing in product manufacturing for nuclear cycle plants, has completed manufacturing fifty reinforced concrete shielding castles to be used for RW storage and transport. By the end of the year, the company specialists will have to release 65 more product items under the contract of Leningrad nuclear power station with Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC.

The batch of reinforced concrete shielding castles is shipped to the customer and will be put into operation in the nearest future. The quality of the products manufactured is confirmed with the certificates for "Equipment, Items and Technologies for Nuclear Facilities, Radiological Sources, and Storage Facilities" issued by a certification authority "ANO Atomcertifica".

This is the second major order received by the specialists of TITAN SPETSKONT, LLC from the nuclear plant for the past two months. All in all 145 items of special equipment were manufactured for Leningrad nuclear plant with the spent nuclear fuel in its technological cycle. Reinforced concrete shielding castles meet all the requirements to safety handling of radioactive wastes at the storage and burial stages.

The annual program for castles manufacture is 3,000 pcs. Organization is capable to provide the delivery of the castles by motor and railway transport.
