OREANDA-NEWS. October 11, 2012. German State Bank (KfW), which is the shareholder of "MEGABANK", is proved to be the safest bank in the world according to annual rating of 50 safest banks of the world as per business periodical "GlobalFinance", reported the press-centre of MEGABANK.

The second position is occupied by "BankNederlandseGemeenten" (BNG), the third one is Swiss bank "Zurcher Kantonalbank".

During the analysis "GlobalFinance" studied 500 representatives of bank sector all over the world, taking into account the recommendations of such rating agencies as "Moody’s", "Standard&Poor’s" and "Fitch".

Reference. "KfW" is on the top of this rating 4 years running.

The shareholders of "MEGABANK" are European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), German State Bank (KfW) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

The regional network of "MEGABANK" has 189 offices in 24 regions of Ukraine. The bank's assets are UAH 4, 402 million. Loan and investment portfolio is UAH 3, 610 million. The bank's capital is UAH 722 million. Current year profit is UAH 6,170 thousand.

"MEGABANK" offers a full range of classical banking services used by 475,000 customers, including 128,000 recipients of pensions and other social benefits.
