OREANDA-NEWS. October 10, 2012. The main works carried out in September 2012 to optimise and modernise production include:

At Berezniki-2, a new main conveyer was brought into service, and the modernisation of conveyer transport in one of the transfer units was completed.

At Berezniki-3, work began on additional assets: transformer substations, distribution facilities and transfer units. A new steam boiler was installed following a replacement process that began on 30th March. Commissioning of the facility for industrial use is scheduled for the end of the year.

At Solikamsk-1, the construction of foundations for a new main building of the carnallite processing plant is being carried out.

At Solikamsk-2, current reconstruction works including the repair, preventive maintenance and inspection of the equipment in the mine and on the surface.

At Solikamsk-3, a new product quality control system “LIMS” was completed, which makes it possible to computerise the process of entering laboratory data of ongoing work sand documents, and to automise their processing and analysis.
