Gomel Dairy Company Is Seeking Supplier of Packing Equipment
OREANDA-NEWS. October 10, 2012. OJSC Dairy Products (Molochnye Produkty, Based in Gomel) plans to hold tenders to choose suppliers of dairy production equipment worth Br8.79 billion (USD 1.034 million), a company representative told.
OJSC Dairy Products plans to invest in a Doypack horizontal automated packing facility for packaging sour cream (Br1.4 billion - USD 164,700); a Wiegand-8000 vacuum evaporator with complete parts worth Br1.5 billion (USD 176,470); milk cooling tanks worth USD 280,000, a 17.7kW refrigerator worth USD 60,000, a two-contour washing machine worth USD 352,940.
Both Belarus-based and foreign companies are invited to take part in the tender.
Established in 1927, Gomel Dairy Factory (currently OJSC Dairy Products) incorporates a series of local dairy factories based in Dobrush, Loyev, Rechitsa and Gomel. The company currently processes around 1,000 litres of milk a day.
