OREANDA-NEWS. October 10, 2012. The draft Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2012" has been approved at a Cabinet meeting.

The bill, in particular, makes provision for additional funding allocation for salaries of employees of research institutions and organizations in the amount of UAH 50,815.8 thousand in 2012, for the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine by the budget program "Basic researches, applied science, scientific and technical developments, works under the national target programs and public contracts, scientific manpower training, financial support for the development of scientific infrastructure and research facilities, which are a national treasure."

The bill adoption will provide the salaries payment to employees of research institutions and organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, will promote strengthening social protection and rising living standards.
