In September, 2012 the passenger traffic in Chisinau Airport International made up 141.1 thou., 22.33 % up as compared with the same period of 2011.

The most popular destinations of the first 9 months of 2012 were Moscow (24.95%), Istanbul (11.74%), Antlaya (10.52%), Verona (6.37%), Munich (5.57%) and Rome (4.4%). In September, 2012 the greatest growth of the traffic fell to the following destinations: Paris (+171.86%), Sochi (+127.2%), London (+108.24%), Surgut (+91.15%), Rome (+82.78%) Verona (+62.6%) and Bucharest (+58.76%).

The most asked-for destinations in September, 2012 were Moscow (23.35%), Antlaya (14.49%), Istanbul (9.33%), Verona (7.13%), Munich (5.33%) and Rome (4.91%). The Chisinau Airport International is the main air gateway of Moldova from which 18 companies are transporting passengers in 27 directions all over the world.
