OREANDA-NEWS. October 8, 2012. Credit Rating Agency confirmed grade 5 (highest deposit strength) of the bank deposit rating of FUIB.

Credit Rating agency announced the results of the rating action taken on bank deposit ratings assigned earlier to Ukraine’s banks. The Agency confirmed grade 5 (highest deposit strength) of the bank deposit rating of First Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB).

The rating action was competed on August 30, 2012. According to the applied special-purpose rating scale the deposits with FUIB are more reliable than deposits with other banks in Ukraine.

Bank Deposit Rating grade 5 (highest deposit strength) indicates that the bank is strong with minor vulnerability to negative commercial, financial and economic factors.

FIRST UKRAINIAN INTERNATIONAL BANK (FUIB) is in the group of the Ukraine’s largest banks. It is a universal bank, especially active in commercial, retail, and investment banking operations. The Bank was founded in 1991. Its major shareholder is “SCM” Finance LLC (92.24%). The FUIB’s regional network consists of 160 outlets all over Ukraine. The Bank is among the leaders in informational transparency by Ukrainian banks according to findings of the surveys held by Standard & Poor’s (2010) and Credit-Rating (2011) agencies with support from Financial Initiatives Agency and the Financial Sector Development Project (FINREP) of the USAID.
