OREANDA-NEWS. October 4, 2012. JSC IRKUT CORPORATION won the prize in the “Realization of prospective projects” nomination of the “Expert-400” rating, organized by the Expert-RA rating agency and the Expert magazine.

It was announced at the VIII Russian Big Business Annual Forum. The event was attended by the Head of Presidential Administration, Sergey Ivanov, representatives of ministries and departments, members of the State Duma and heads of local companies from different business sectors included in the Expert-400 rating.

Forum is the final event of annual research and communication project – Expert-400, which highlights the most authoritative national rating of Russian companies and identifies recent trends in big business. The main idea of the forum in 2012 is to demonstrate concrete achievements of Russian biggest companies for the last 20 years which are considered to be the pride of the nation.

IRKUT Corporation takes the leading position in the Russian aviation industry producing Su-30MK multirole fighters which are in high-demand as well as Yak-130 new generation combat trainers. Earlier it released the first batch of Be-200 unique multifunctional amphibious aircraft. Currently the Company is actively pursuing a program to create a family of MC-21 commercial airliner – the main prospective project of Russian civil aviation.
