ASM-Holding Released Forecast of Russian Auto Market for 2012
OREANDA-NEWS. October 4, 2012. Based on the analysis of motor vehicle sales dynamics through the first eight months of 2012, ASM Holding analysts made their forecast of the market for the full year 2012. According to the company’s estimation, 3.32m vehicles of all types (including 3.28m new vehicles) will be sold on the Russian market in 2012, up 13.7% year on year.
Passenger car sales will be 2.87m units according to the forecast. Truck sales (including light trucks) will be 380 thousand units, and bus sales (including minibuses) will be 72 thousand units.
Of the total new vehicles’ sales, proportion of vehicles produced in Russia is expected to be 55% for trucks, 64% for cars, and 73% for buses.
