Hong Kong Branch of Agricultural Bank of China Limited (ABC) recently launched its personal online banking system, providing an on-line capability for personal financial transactions. This is yet another landmark achievement by Hong Kong Branch since its corporate online banking unit come into operation as an important component of its overall e-banking services, reported the press-centre of ABC.

ABC's branding of "safety, promptness and efficiency" is intricately integrated into Hong Kong Branch's personal online banking system. The system provides wide-ranging online financial services for personal customers building on ten years of ever evolving achievements and experiences in domestic e-banking systems. 

The new online service covers most functions of deposit, credit, payment, settlement and other business lines. Customers can handle account inquiry, personal asset view inquiry, internal transfer, foreign transfer, remittance, reserved remittance, open a time-deposit account, loan inquiry and limit management. etc., at any time. Presently, the main users of the personal online banking service are ABC's customers who have opened accounts and registered for online banking at Hong Kong Branch. In terms of security certificate, the personal online banking adopts multiple security measures such as USB-KEY certificate and SMS verification code to guarantee customers' transaction and assets safety.

This launch clearly enhances Hong Kong Branch's customer service capacity. In the future, ABC will strengthen this system with more diversified investment and wealth management functions, as part of an effort to create more value for its customers.
