Power Industry Facilities of Yenisei TGC Prepared for Heating Season
OREANDA-NEWS. October 3, 2012. Works for preparation for 2012/2013 heating period have been completed at all the power industry enterprises of JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” (part of LLC “Siberian Generating Company” group of companies).
Core heat and power equipment required for commencement of and operation through the heating period has been prepared for work at JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” facilities located in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Republic of Khakassia.
The capital, mid-life and current repairs of equipment, buildings and structures planned for performance during the non-heating period have been executed at the Company’s CHPs, GRESs and boiler houses in full. One has carried out repair of 46 steam boilers, 4 hot water boilers, 23 turbines and 95 electric boilers at the electric boiler houses. This means a 100% compliance with the schedule as of September 25 and amounts to over 63% of the annual repairs program.
Repair works that do not interfere with heating season commencement and progress will proceed till the end of the year without detriment to consumers energy supply.
The main scope of heating network pipes re-laying works planned by 2012 repairs program is over at the heating network complex facilities.
In Krasnoyarsk, Krasnoyarsk Heating Network enterprise has re-laid a vast extent of trunk heating networks in Botkin Street, Gorky Street, 60 let Oktyabrya Street, im. gazety “Krasnoyarsky Rabochy” Prospect, Vavilov Street, Dubrovinsky Street embankment, Metallurgov Prospect and Dachnaya Street. Having undergone complete replacement are submain networks between Respubliki Street and Gorky Street, in im. gazety “Krasnoyarsky Rabochy” Prospect, Semafornaya Street, Robespiera Street, Sudostroitelnaya Street, Shchorsa Street and Kraynyaya Street. Urban landscaping works (recovery of roadway and green lawns) are still in progress at certain sites but those do not interfere with commencement or and operation through the heating season.
Provision for a fuel stock proceeds ahead of schedule. Currently, actual stock of coal at all the Company’s power plants is in excess of the target set by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.
This year JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” preparation for the heating season is peculiar for application foam polymer and mineral thermal insulation during replacement of pipelines with diameter equal to 100 mm and more. This will enable considerable reduction of heat losses and pipelines operational life extension.
Additionally, the new Power Unit No 1 of Krasnoyarsk CHP-3 commissioned in March 2012 will be in operation in Krasnoyarsk during the coming heating season. This will enable an increase of electric energy output and thermal resources supply as well as improved reliability of heat supply to the Sovetsky District.
One has also completed construction of the boost pump plant in Posadny Island that will be commissioned in the coming heating season which will equally promote improvement of heat supply to the territorial capital city residents.
The equipment repair and replacement works having been undertaken as well as new power industry facilities commissioning give reasons to expect reliable heat and hot water supply in the coming 2012/2013 heating season.
“Siberian Generating Company (SGC) group including JSC “Kuzbassenergo”(TGC-12) and JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” is engaged in production and sales of electric and thermal energy, additionally providing for heat supply. The group of companies carries out their activities within the Kemerovo Region, the Altai and Krasnoyarsk Territories and the Republic of Khakassia. In the total generation volume of the integrated power system of Siberia SGC accounts for a portion amounting to approximately 20%. The main fuel is coal. The main end market is the wholesale electric power market. Currently, the company is implementing a large-scale investment program for construction of new facilities within the framework of power supply contracts, the program cost exceeding 78 bln RUR.
