OREANDA-NEWS. October 3, 2012. Belarus’ beer output decreased 4.1% on the year in January-August 2012 to 30.7 million decaliters, the National Statistics Committee told.

In August alone beer output reduced 29.5% on the year to 3.72 million decaliters.

Beer inventories were at 2.3 million decaliters as of September 1, 2012, 59.9% of the average monthly output.

Inventories reduced 35.5% from August 1, 2012, a beer market expert told.

Beer sales increased 1% on the year in January-August 2012 to 23.525 million decaliters.

In terms of 100% alcohol, beer sales grew 1 percentage points in January-August to 14.6%.
