SEB Offers New Solution to Business Clients
OREANDA-NEWS. October 03, 2012. As of today, SEB will offer the possibility for business clients to manage company accounts in real time through the SEB Estonia Internet Bank as well as in SEB banks in Latvia and Lithuania. A company operating in several countries can now manage, through the SEB Internet Bank, all of their SEB bank accounts in the Baltic States, reported the press-centre of SEB.
“An increasing number of companies in the Baltic States are operating cross-border and that is why they must use different internet banks on a daily basis for communicating with banks in different countries.
It became evident while communicating with business clients that upon performing bank transactions managers and accountants spend ample time on technical work, which resulted in SEB’s decision to combine internet banks in three countries so that every business client would have an overview of their SEB bank accounts in other countries through their local home bank. In addition, business clients can now initiate payments from foreign accounts through their home bank and order automated notifications of receipts or payments in other states. Seeing the whole picture enables a company to manage their cash flows better and helps to save time and money on bank transactions,” noted Allan Parik, Head of SEB Baltic Corporate Banking.
Baltic Online is an electronic solution, encompassing all three Baltic States, which enables companies operating in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania to manage their cash flows in the Baltic States through the SEB Estonia Internet Bank for Business Clients (view account balances, receipts and payments, and make transfers). In addition to the Internet Bank, business clients can use the new pan-Baltic service in mobile banking as well. “About a dozen clients have used the pilot project of the new service, and according to feedback the new solution helps companies operating cross-border to save time on administrative activities. Figuratively speaking, business clients now have a gateway through which they can manage their financial matters. The new solution provides companies with a good possibility to centralise the services provided in the Baltic States to one country, similar to international corporations creating one financial centre that services subsidiaries in several countries,” said Allan Parik.
Companies can obtain more information on the Baltic Online solution from their client executive, by going to the nearest SEB branch, or by calling the Client Support Helpline +372 665 5100.
